About Patrick Low I am Patrick and I have been a professional photographer for the past 20 years. I am very honoured to be the first Malaysian in top 40 photographers of the year on top of winning it for 4 consecutive times in 2006 & 3 consecutive times in 2007 in different categories. I am not in this business however to merely to win awards and make a living. I do it because I live and breathe it. To me, photography is not my work but is instead my life. I am a huge fan of artistic / conceptual images and I believe that mood and composition plays an utterly important part in achieving this design direction of mine. For me, I don’t just shoot a photo, I try to feel it and I let my imagination run free. I do not lock myself within a certain constrain of what the general public or my peers expects of me and I do not really conform to the conventional. I believe this are the virtues that sets me apart from the rest as far as my work is concern.

| Fuiyau Yap, Malaysian, graduated in Multimedia Design in Kuala Lumpur since 2000. He was introduced to photography at an early age by his father. Despite his formal education, he has developed a keen and sharp photographic eye. He also one of the founder of PhotoPintu.com, An online photo community which based in Malaysia, a place for him to learn, sharing and keep his skill up to date.
Although Fuiyau is based in Malaysia, he is always willing to travel abroad for work. It is also worth mentioning that he love travel a lot. |
